Diffraction Lab Basic, the easiest tool with the ace capabilities to visualize 3D simulation of wave diffraction in a lab bench setup.
This is a simple application to visualize the 3D simulation of wave diffraction in a lab bench setup. The useful application for educational purposes assists in the visualization of the diffraction effects produced by coherent waves from a variety of sources and to explore diffraction under a wide range of wavelengths and physical configurations, as would be found in a laboratory bench arrangement. The program demonstrates diffraction from a square aperture, square array of point sources and two and three point sources on a circle. The simulation generates diffraction patterns for the Fresnel limit, Fraunhofer limit and any intermediate value. Sources consist of: 2D array, Apertures, and so on.
With a simple interface this program runs on XP and higher with graphics that supports Direct3D 9 or better and vertex shader 3 and pixel shader 3.
